We're seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to be our technical pathfinder, capable of researching, designing, and guiding implementation of any complex foundational technology our platform requires. This role demands a versatile architect who can quickly become an expert in unfamiliar technologies - whether that's disaster recovery, OAuth2, GraphQL, event streaming, or whatever tomorrow's challenge brings. You'll be our go-to person for answering 'how do we implement this?' for any sophisticated technical initiative. You'll research solutions, create proof of concepts, write implementation guides, and work hands-on with developers to ensure successful delivery. Perfect for architects who thrive on variety, love learning new technologies, can master complex concepts quickly, and excel at translating sophisticated technical solutions into actionable development plans. No two months will look the same in this role.

Responsibilities:

Research and architect solutions for complex technical challenges as they arise
Rapidly learn new technologies and become the internal expert to guide teams
Create proof of concepts and reference implementations for foundational features
Write comprehensive implementation guides that developers can follow
Design enterprise-grade solutions for security, scalability, and reliability requirements
Evaluate and select technologies for any major platform capability
Conduct hands-on sessions with development teams to ensure proper implementation
Solve cross-cutting concerns that affect the entire platform architecture
Stay ahead of technology trends and recommend strategic platform improvements
Troubleshoot complex technical issues that span multiple systems
Design integration strategies for new technologies into existing architecture
Create technical roadmaps for foundational platform capabilities
Lead technical discovery and feasibility studies for new initiatives
Bridge the gap between “what we need” and “how to build it”

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred)
8+ years of software development with 4+ years in architecture roles
Proven ability to quickly learn and master new technologies
Strong research skills and ability to evaluate technical solutions
Experience implementing a wide variety of enterprise technologies
Excellent problem-solving skills for ambiguous technical challenges
Hands-on coding ability to create working prototypes and POCs
Strong documentation and technical writing skills
Ability to translate complex concepts into developer-friendly guides
Experience with cloud platforms, security, and enterprise architecture
Track record of successfully introducing new technologies to teams
Self-directed learning mindset with intellectual curiosity

Will be a plus:

Breadth of Technical Experience:
- Identity management (OAuth2, SAML, SSO, RBAC/ABAC)
- Cloud architecture and disaster recovery
- Event-driven architecture and message streaming
- API design patterns and GraphQL
- Search technologies (Elasticsearch, Solr)
