We're seeking a UI/UX Designer to join our growing design team and help refresh the user interface of our entire behavioral health EHR platform. With hundreds of modules and windows across billing, clinical, scheduling, and administrative functions, we need someone who can both design new features and ensure consistency across our massive application. You'll review all UI implementations before production to ensure CSS guideline compliance, design intuitive workflows for complex healthcare processes, and help establish a modern, consistent user experience across our platform. This role requires someone who understands that healthcare UX isn't just about looking good - it's about helping providers work efficiently while managing patient care. Responsibilities:

Review all UI implementations before production deployment for CSS compliance
Design user interfaces for new modules and features across the platform
Create and maintain design system documentation and component libraries
Conduct UI audits of existing modules during our platform-wide refresh
Design complex forms and workflows for healthcare processes (billing, clinical notes, scheduling)
Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new product features
Ensure consistency across hundreds of windows and modules
Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
Conduct user research with healthcare providers to understand workflows
Design responsive interfaces that work for both desktop and tablet users
Create intuitive solutions for complex data entry and display requirements
Perform usability testing with actual healthcare users
Work with product managers to balance user needs with technical feasibility
Maintain visual consistency while accommodating module-specific requirements

Requirements:

5-6 years of UI/UX design experience with complex applications
Strong portfolio demonstrating enterprise or data-heavy application design
Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools
Experience creating and maintaining design systems
Understanding of CSS and ability to review implementation accuracy
Experience designing forms and data-entry intensive interfaces
Strong attention to detail for consistency across large applications
Ability to manage multiple module designs simultaneously
Experience with user research and usability testing
Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
Understanding of responsive design principles

Will be a plus:

Healthcare or EHR system design experience
Understanding of medical workflows and clinical documentation
Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508)
Knowledge of behavioral health or mental health practices
Experience redesigning legacy applications
Familiarity with Angular or similar frontend frameworks
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge to communicate with developers
Experience with design handoff tools (Zeplin, Figma Dev Mode)
Understanding of HIPAA requirements for UI design
Experience managing design consistency across large teams
Knowledge of data visualization and dashboard design
